Food Giveaways
Every first and third Wednesday of the month, Straight from the Heart of North Central Florida does a food giveaway at the Fort White Community Center (17579 State Road 47, Fort White, FL 32038) starting at noon and ending at 1:00 PM. Anyone is welcome to receive food – the only requirement is that one representative of each receiving household is present to collect. Reducing food insecurity in the local and surround communities is a top priority for Straight from the Heart of North Central Florida.
From Mourning to Dancing
Navigating grief can be challenging, however, nobody has do to it alone. From Mourning to Dancing is an outreach of Straight from the Heart of North Central Florida dedicated to providing grief counseling as well as care baskets to individuals and families in their time of bereavement.
First Period & Other School-based Outreach
Straight from the Heart of North Central Florida is committed to making school life easier for students in the local community. First Period is an outreach program of Straight from the Heart of North Central Florida dedicated to providing feminine care packages with sanitary products to the local elementary school. Other School outreach from Straight from the Heart of North Central Florida include school supply and backpack giveaways.
Biblically Based- Community Driven
Straight from the Heart of North Central Florida is a “Biblically based, community driven” nonprofit organization serving the rural community of Fort White, Florida.
Community Oriented
The goal of Straight From the Heart of North Central Florida is to provide assistance and support members of the local and surrounding communities. It is our purpose to give a hand up to our fellow neighbors while empowering and encouraging individuals and families.
Ministries & Outreach
Straight from the Heart of North Central Florida aims to provide support for the local and surrounding communities through various ministries and outreach programs. These include: From Mourning to Dancing grief support, twice-monthly food giveaways at the Fort White Community Center on the first and third Wednesdays of every month from 12:00-1:00PM, Operational Duffel, First Period, jacket and hoodie giveaways, school supply and backpack giveaways, counseling, Annual Community Health and Information Fair, and more.
